Stead’s Place – online exhibition 12:00 to 20:00, 30th July 2020

(adapted from https://www.steads-place.com)

Drum (Steads Place) Ltd and CAMVO 123 Ltd have submitted a Proposal of Application Notice (PAN) to  Edinburgh Council for the redevelopment of the Stead’s Place site, near the foot of Leith Walk.

Because of the current Covid-19 restrictions, Drum and CANVO are unable to present the development proposals and seek community views at an in-person public consultation.

In line with Scottish Government guidance, Drum and CANVO will present an initial online exhibition, launching on Thursday 30th July. This will enable people to view the new proposals for Stead’s Place, email any questions to the design team and submit formal feedback online.

The interactive exhibition will be live on https://www.steads-place.com from 12 noon on July 30th, with members of the design team available to respond by email to any questions until 8 pm.

If you would like to make comments on the proposals after viewing the exhibition, you will have until Thursday August 13th to complete and return an online feedback questionnaire.

Leith Walk/Halmyre Street consultation: extension to 1 June 2020

CEC emailed LHNCC and many others on 7 May about an extension of the consultation-period on the draft place-brief for Leith Walk/Halmyre Street.

I may have written to you previously to tell you we were looking for views on the draft place brief for Leith Walk / Halmyre Street. The place brief sets out a vision and key  principles to inform the design of future development on the site.

Due to the Covid-19 lockdown the online consultation has been extended until 1 June 2020.  There is more time therefore  to give us your views on the draft brief if you haven’t already done so. Here is the link to the consultation: https://consultationhub.edinburgh.gov.uk/sfc/leith-walk-halmyre-street-site-brief.

There are links to the draft brief and some supporting documents including a summary of the previous consultations.

We hope to hear from you
