Edinburgh airport community survey

(from an email from Edinburgh Airport)

As part of our desire to reach more of the community, Edinburgh Airport is keen to understand what people living and working in our community want to hear more about in relation to airport activities. To do this we have created a ‘Community Survey’ which asks what’s important to you. The survey only takes five minutes to complete and will provide invaluable feedback as we look to engage more with the local community. The results will not only help the organisation better understand what topics are of interest to the community but will also be important in helping us provide you with relevant information in the most effective ways. The survey can be completed online using the link below.

Edinburgh Airport Community Survey

If you would prefer a paper copy, please either email us at communications@edinburghairport.com or write to us at Freepost EDINBURGH AIRPORT – COMMUNICATIONS TEAM (please do not write anything else on the envelope), including a note requesting a copy of the Community Survey and a return address and we’ll post one out to you. The survey is open until 21st July 2019.

This survey is being administered by an independent research agency, Progressive Partnership. Please be assured that your confidentiality and anonymity is respected at all times in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Market Research Society Code of Conduct. Any data collected from you is done so purely for research purposes and will be passed to Edinburgh Airport Limited only with your permission.

Traffic delays at Bonnington Toll

(adapted from an email from Edinburgh Council time-stamped 12:21 on 30 May [today].)

I write to provide an update with regards the traffic delays this week due to the work taking place at Bonnington Toll (as detailed below).

Over the past 2 days, a number of private vehicles parked close to the work area have made it difficult for large vehicles to pass the traffic management and as such this has extended journey times for commuters quite significantly at times.

However, as of this morning it has been managed to move all vehicles which were causing an obstruction and as a result  journey times are significantly better this morning.

In addition, there have been some adjustments to the temporary traffic signal timings, to reflect the dynamic flows at the junction throughout the day. It is hoped that for the remainder of the work traffic queues and delays can remain as short as possible.

If you need to discuss this in any more detail or would like a further update, or have any concerns from residents, please do not hesitate to contact Steven Blacklaw. Please also CC secretary.lccc@leithcentralcc.co.uk
