Happy news – £eith Chooses funds are growing, so more than 11 projects will get funded! The fund started with £46,106 from the Council’s Community Grant Fund, and then that was supplemented by a donation of £5,000 from the Port of Leith Housing Association (POLHA). And now we have had confirmation of a further donation of £5,000 to come from the Trams to Newhaven project. A huge thank you to both of these organisations for their generosity!

So £56,106 is available to fund projects in Leith, with allocation to be decided by participatory budgeting. That is, the people of Leith choose which projects are funded. (This will be via online voting in January 2022.) Check out http://www.leithchooses.net for all the news!
