5 Residents’ issues (raised prior to the meeting)
5.a Problem drinkers/drug users in and around Leith
- Such issues have been observed in specific locales such as Kirkgate and Sandport. No obvious solution.
5.b Dangerous cycling and use of e-scooters (especially on pavements)
- These appear to be most prevalent on Leith Walk and at the Kirkgate. They will be monitored in coming months.

- No further news on future training dates
7.a.ii Re-opening of ‘Pride’ bridge
- No further information yet available
- Action: J Ran to prepare a response to the request for a ‘positive’ reference to the proposed works.

- D Tharby reported on aspects of change for all items, i.e.

- Establishment of Edinburgh Partnership board, proposals to change Local Place Plans, implications for the Local Improvement Plan

- D Tharby: this was a great day – lots of fine weather if a bit windy. Working with Leith Links CC, we met a great number of local people and personalities.

8 Update from EACC on the presentation to City of Edinburgh Council over the summer of the revised proposals for the Community Council scheme and boundary changes
- D Tharby has circulated latest details via email. Members have not objected to the proposed changes to LHNCC’s area.
