Royal Voluntary Service is looking for new volunteers
(adapted from an email from RVS)
The Royal Voluntary Service is one of the largest providers of volunteers in Great Britain, all doing fantastic volunteering work. It aims to inspire, encourage and empower people to volunteer and share their skills and talents in order to alleviate loneliness and isolation in older people. Activities will be supported by funds raised by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
We are currently recruiting volunteers for a new Book Group in the Leith area. The role will involve helping with the basic organisation of the group and recruiting and welcoming new members. Full training will be provided.
Come and join us in making a big difference to the lives of isolated older people in your local community!
