Just a brief reminder that the Feeling Safe Community Forum is holding it’s latest public meeting, tomorrow evening [Tuesday 4th March 2014] in McDonald Road Library, from 18:30.
The meeting is a chance to hear what the work has been done to address the three chosen priorities at our last public meeting held in late November 2013;
- Street drinking – Address problematic street drinking in parks& greenspaces across Leith, also including the Kirkgate.
- Housebreakings & thefts – Undertake proactive work across the Leith are in peak times for such crimes.
- Licensed premises in & around Leith Walk – Undertake proactive work to prevent & detect crime & anti social behaviour associated with licensed premises over the festive period.
